Latino Leaders in the milwaukee community | vip night

On Friday, June 21st, Lily Pad Gallery West had the pleasure of hosting Latino Leaders in the Milwaukee community for a VIP night with artist Alfredo Palmero, who traveled from Spain for his Contemporary Classicism exhibition in Milwaukee. Attendees included Palmero's family in addition to Irissol Arce of Northwest Mutual, Esperanza Gutierrez, Romke de Haan, Ian and Elsa Bautista of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Zonia Lopez Chrostiwski, Cheryl Blue of the 30th St. Industrial Corridor Corp and Tammy Rivera of the Southside Organizing Center. Palmero spoke to the group of esteemed leaders regarding his passion for his work as well as the meaning behind his paintings. Overall the event provided a lively opportunity to strengthen the relationship between Milwaukee locals and the artwork of Barcelona.
