Please Join Lily Pad Gallery West as we explore the works of 16 artists paying tribute to the beauty of Earth’s many open waters.

There are few things more liberating than a vast, open body of water. It’s a rejuvenating, nourishing life-giver, and in the presence of open water, we feel free to express our truest selves, much like artistic expression allows us to exhibit our truest selves.

Earth’s open waters have captivated humans for centuries, and inspire us to capture their beauty in creative, nuanced ways. They’ve inspired us to capture fleeting, transient moments that can only ever be experienced for a second time through the magic and liberation of artistic expression, and these works of art pay tribute to that time-honored tradition.

Time & Tide will be featured on the Lily Pad Gallery West website from August 8 to 21, 2020.

Lily Pad Gallery West is located at 215 N Broadway in the Historic Third Ward of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
